Welcome to ukairportlounges.co.uk.
Having experienced the advantages of pre-booking an airport lounge this website is designed to be a simple guide offering information and prices on the airport lounges at all the United Kingdoms main airports. For further details simply choose your airport from the list on the left.
In the past airport lounges or executive/VIP lounges as they are often referred to were the preserve of business or first class customers and many still are! but over the years another type has developed that is open to all customers (subject sometimes to childrens age restrictions and size of group restrictions). These lounges still seem to be a well kept secret but actually are available in many airports and can normally be pre-booked online before you fly for around £16 per person.
So what do they typically offer? (Facilities will vary by airport)
Far more comfortable seating and surroundings than the standard airport lounge.
Television,
Flight information,
Free Newspapers and Magazines to read,
Complimentary hot & cold drinks (excluding Champagne)
Free Snacks,
Wifi (often free)
Because they offer free snacks and drinks they often work out not only as a more relaxing way to spend time at an airport but as a cost effective option, a couple of gin and tonics and a snack at an airport can quite easily cost the same as the entry fee into the lounge. Plus some have great views of the airport for those who want to watch planes landing and taking off while enjoying the freebies.
Because places are limited at the lounges it is important to book early so you can be assured of being reserved a place and for airports that offer executive lounges, details of where to book can be found on that page.
NB - Lounges normally have a smart casual dress code (no baseball caps, shorts or football shirts) and expect reasonable behaviour from guests. Smart, knee-length shorts are often permitted. Lounge staff reserve the right to refuse admission. If you are looking to book an airport lounge abroad, lounges can also be pre-booked at Malta airport. You can check prices and availability below.
